Reading

This is my read aloud task we have to publish to edmodo and we get to choose from 4 or 5 tasks and all the words are from the book the book is "the island of the blue dolphin"

Cross country

This is our cross country we went to fardon park to do our cross country we had to do zip zaps to a point then you ran straight then around 3 corners then straight to the start/finish 10 and 11 year olds ran 2 laps.

Next step: to come in the top 8.

This is my art for my inquiry I did driftwood I named is the protector of the sea I named it this because I think it is a really good name and because Dolphins are really smart.

For P.E in term 1 we have been working on our swimming skills. I am in the Seals group. My learning goals are: swim a three length medley, and to tread water for two minutes, to do standard dive, to swim one length breaststroke. My next step is to kick harder

This is my add for soccer safety kit

Athletes and cricket

WALT: develop fundamental skills required for athletics 

WILF: - Correct technique for throwing the discus and shotput

Correct technique for long jump and high jump

Passing the baton accurately in relay sprints

I am proud of coming 2nd in my running

It was a challenge for me to do shot put but I still did it

My next step is to able to jump higher 

Next year I would like to be in the he champs

My best event was my running because I came 2nd

WALT: develop the skills or batting, bowling, throwing, and fielding in cricket

WILF: 

- overarm throwing when fielding

- catching with hands held like a basket

- straight arm bowling

- eyes on the ball and move the bat all the way through when batting

The skill I am best at is bowling because bowling I am really straight 

My next step is to be able to throw the ball more far.

Reading term 4

WALT: listen to a novel and reflect on the story as we think about the characters, setting, plot and the author's purpose 

In this we hade to describe Brain and draw a hut that you could make in the wild

Excellence

WALT:  display excellence in all that we do

WILF: has been 'me' displaying 'my best, a can do attitude' in different situations, environments and in my learning.

Next Step:  I believe I still need to work on showing excellence in writing I will do my best to do this in 2017.
